Bumblebee Transformed into a Mechanical Collector’s Piece
Created in collaboration with Hasbro for Transformers: The Last Knight, the Transformers 5 Series – Bumblebee Tourbillon transforms one of the franchise’s most beloved Autobots into a bold mechanical collector’s watch.
The dial is dominated by a sculpted Bumblebee embossment, rendered in bright golden tones against the black PVD-coated stainless steel case. Its layered construction captures the mechanical character of the iconic Autobot, while the openworked areas reveal parts of the movement beneath. Nine diamonds serve as hour markers, and two yellow diamonds form Bumblebee’s eyes, adding precious detail to the powerful character design.
The day/night indicator at 3 o’clock and power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock are partially integrated beneath the central Bumblebee motif, creating the impression of the character transforming into vehicle form. At 6 o’clock, the flying tourbillon completes one rotation every 60 seconds, evoking the constant motion of a high-performance engine.
Powered by a manually wound movement with twin mainspring barrels, the watch operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers an impressive 80-hour power reserve. Finished with a black alligator strap, the Transformers 5 Series – Bumblebee combines cinematic storytelling, precious gemstone details, and mechanical watchmaking in a distinctive limited edition.
Only 288 pieces were produced, making this an expressive collector’s timepiece for fans of Transformers, robotics, and unconventional tourbillon design.
