Created by renowned Hong Kong musician and designer Mark Lui, The Precious Time Machine Series reinterprets his original Time Machine concept as a tribute to women and the precious moments they create. Designed as a meaningful gift for Mother’s Day and inspired by his appreciation for his wife, Jade Lui, this edition combines the bold industrial spirit of the original with a more refined, jewellery-like execution.
The watch retains the distinctive “steampunk” language of the Time Machine family, featuring four chimney-shaped pillars rising from the dial like industrial towers. Here, however, the mechanical concept is elevated with 292 diamonds and 72 sapphires, symbolizing feminine strength, elegance, and the invaluable role women play in family and history. The diamond-set stainless steel case and silvery-white palette give the watch a sophisticated look that pairs beautifully with modern wardrobes.
Beneath its luxurious exterior is a flying tourbillon movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, supported by a twin mainspring barrel and a 60-hour power reserve. A 24-hour indicator and power reserve indicator enhance the functionality, while the open, architectural dial preserves the mechanical soul of the original design. The Precious Time Machine is both a striking statement piece and a celebration of time shared with the ones who matter most.
