A Carbon Fiber Tourbillon Built with Racing Spirit
The Memorigin GT Series brings together the precision of mechanical watchmaking and the performance-driven spirit of racing cars.
Inspired by the close relationship between motorsport and horology, this tourbillon watch uses a carbon fiber dial, a material strongly associated with racing car components, to create a technical and sporty visual identity. Four circular displays define the dial layout: the off-centred time display at 12 o’clock, the day/night indicator at 3 o’clock, the GMT indicator at 9 o’clock, and the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock.
The red accents around the sub-displays and the red luminous dauphine hands reinforce the racing-inspired character of the watch. The alligator strap is finished with a carbon fiber surface and red stitching, tying the design together with a cohesive motorsport aesthetic.
Inside, the manually wound flying tourbillon movement is composed of 189 subassembly components and 19 jewels, operating at 28,800 oscillations per hour. The movement delivers a 40-hour power reserve, while the tourbillon at 6 o’clock completes one full rotation every 60 seconds.
Housed in a 43 mm stainless steel case with sapphire crystal on both sides, the GT Series is a practical yet distinctive tourbillon for collectors who appreciate racing design, mechanical complexity, and everyday functionality.
