Hong Kong tourbillon watch brand, Memorigin, has partnered with Alex Fong, a former Hong Kong swimming athlete and A Drop of Life to launch the hope-themed Ambassador of HOPE tourbillon watch. A part of the revenue will be donated to A Drop of Life which provides clean water to communities in need.

‘Rainbow’ is a symbol of hope. The beautiful rainbow which appears after a rainstorm illustrates the fact that hopes always come after difficulties in life. This representation has become the inspiration of the Ambassador of HOPE tourbillon watch. A vibrant colorful tone is used on the watch dial. The river in the middle is as bright as a rainbow and it ripples to specify the theme of ‘water’ bringing hopes in the world. The delicate operation of the tourbillon components can be appreciated through the skeletal design of the dial, giving a sense of mechanical feeling.

The barrel-shaped watch case is made of carbon fiber. The rainbow is even more vivid under the contrast with the stylish black case. To make the watch memorable, the logo of A Drop of Life is placed at the watch crown. The indices and the hands are covered with luminescent paint so that the dial will still glow in the dark and fulfill the time-telling mission at night.

In alignment with the rainbow design, Memorigin has specially created a colorful tourbillon movement to enhance the visuals of the watch. The movement vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 times per hour, providing the watch with high stability and accuracy. The 40-hour power reserve gives the watch big energy storage with high utility.
