Its hand-painted lion head dial is finished in bold yellow, a colour long associated with abundance, celebration and authority. The result is bright, expressive and impossible to ignore — a watch that feels more like wearable folk art than conventional watch design.
The dial is not only decorative, but interactive. The lion’s eyes move independently to display the time, with the left eye indicating the hours and the right eye the minutes. At the strike of every hour, the lion’s tongue extends from the mouth and gradually retracts, adding a theatrical automaton effect that keeps the watch in motion throughout the day.
Beneath the spectacle is a genuine automatic mechanical movement with a 40-hour power reserve, protected by sapphire crystal and housed in a 43 mm 316L stainless steel case. Luminous markers improve legibility in low light, while the leather-and-fluororubber strap balances visual impact with everyday comfort.
