Created in collaboration with celebrated Hong Kong entertainer Jim Chim, the SuperJ Watch Tourbillon transforms the spirit of comedy, optimism, and creativity into a distinctive mechanical timepiece. Inspired by Jim’s personal philosophy of PIP – Pleasure, Imagination, and Play, the watch serves as a daily reminder to embrace life with positivity regardless of the challenges encountered along the way.
The openworked black dial reveals the intricate architecture of the movement while incorporating playful artistic elements throughout the design. A prominent letter “J” at 12 o’clock pays tribute to Jim himself, while a smiling face positioned above the flying tourbillon symbolizes happiness, encouragement, and the importance of maintaining a positive outlook. Red hands reference the iconic red nose of a clown, reinforcing the playful theme that defines the collection.
The skeletonized construction allows the wearer to admire the movement beneath, while rose gold-tone architectural elements create warmth, contrast, and visual depth. At 6 o’clock, the flying tourbillon rotates continuously, providing a dynamic mechanical centerpiece that combines artistry with precision watchmaking.
Housed in a rose gold-plated stainless steel case and paired with a black alligator leather strap, the SuperJ Watch Tourbillon balances contemporary design with classic elegance. Powered by a manually wound flying tourbillon movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a 40-hour power reserve, it delivers both technical performance and emotional appeal.
