Created by renowned Hong Kong musician and designer Mark Lui, The Precious Time Machine reimagines his original steampunk-inspired Time Machine as a refined tribute to women, family, and the precious moments that become lasting memories.
Originally conceived as a meaningful Mother’s Day gift and an expression of appreciation for his wife, Jade Lui, the design combines the industrial spirit of the original Time Machine with the brilliance and elegance of fine jewellery. Four chimney-shaped pillars rise from the dial at varying heights, recalling the factories, invention, and mechanical ambition of the Industrial Revolution while revealing glimpses of the movement beneath.
In this pink edition, 292 white diamonds are paired with 72 pink gemstones around the bezel, creating a softer, more romantic expression of the collection. The pink alligator strap enhances the feminine character of the watch, while the silvery-white architecture of the case and dial preserves the distinctive mechanical identity of the Time Machine design.
The flying tourbillon at 12 o’clock forms the technical centerpiece, accompanied by a power reserve indicator and day/night display. Powered by a manually wound movement with a 60-hour power reserve, The Precious Time Machine combines emotional storytelling, jewellery craftsmanship, and mechanical theatre in a timepiece created to celebrate the value of time shared with those we love.
Each watch is made to order, with an estimated production lead time of approximately two to three months.
