Created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Saint Seiya, the Saint Seiya Series – Sagittarius Bandai Version brings the legendary anime and manga universe into the world of mechanical watchmaking.
Developed through a collaboration between Memorigin, Art Vantage, and Bandai Namco Asia, the watch transforms the iconic Sagittarius armour into a richly sculpted mechanical composition. The intricate golden embossment dominates the dial, with carefully rendered lines and details inspired by the character’s armour, celestial imagery, and the mythology surrounding the Zodiac.
Athena’s influence is represented through a discreet scepter motif incorporated into the power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock, symbolizing the strength she grants to the Saints. At 3 o’clock, the day/night indicator carries the Sagittarius name and a celestial display, while rubies and sapphires serve as hour markers and reinforce the watch’s cosmic colour palette.
The flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock introduces constant mechanical motion beneath the sculpted Sagittarius figure. Powered by a manually wound movement comprising 193 components and 27 jewels, the watch operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers an 80-hour power reserve.
Finished with a rose gold-plated case, dramatic red hands, and a matching red alligator strap inspired by Bandai’s signature colour, this version is limited to only 30 pieces worldwide. It is a distinctive collector’s timepiece combining Japanese pop culture, Greek mythology, fine engraving, and mechanical craftsmanship.
