Created in collaboration with Steven Ma Chun Wai, the Poem Series transforms classical Chinese poetry into wearable mechanical art. This barrel-shaped edition is inspired by Xu Zhimo’s poem “By Chance” (偶然), bringing literary expression and horological craftsmanship together in a design that feels both emotional and contemporary.
The dial is engraved with the full poem, allowing the written verses to take center stage as both decoration and storytelling. Twelve black diamond hour markers frame the composition with subtle contrast, while the blue hands and matching blue alligator strap introduce a refined, modern accent that enhances the watch’s elegant presence.
At 6 o’clock, the flying tourbillon adds motion and technical depth beneath the poetic surface, creating a striking balance between calm literary beauty and mechanical vitality. Powered by a self-winding movement with bi-directional winding and a 40-hour power reserve, the watch offers the convenience of automatic wear while preserving the artistic soul of the Poem Series.
