Inspired by the Pursuit of Excellence
Aspirare Tourbillon – The Beginning of Mémoire
The Aspirare Tourbillon marks the beginning of Mémoire — a new high-end watchmaking chapter created by Memorigin in collaboration with Swiss Koncept, the watchmaking development company founded by renowned Swiss watchmakers Kaj Korpela and Costya Vigneri.
Born from three years of close collaboration, design, and refinement, the Aspirare Tourbillon represents a shared pursuit of elevated craftsmanship. Its name comes from the Latin word aspirare, meaning “to aspire” — a fitting expression for a timepiece shaped by ambition, patience, and the desire to push mechanical artistry further.
At its heart is a handcrafted tourbillon movement composed of 155 components and 25 jewels. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement requires over 100 hours to complete, reflecting the level of care and precision behind Mémoire’s debut creation. The base plate is engraved with “DESIGNED & HANDCRAFTED BY SWISS CONCEPT”, serving as a mark of artisanal excellence.
The 40mm case frames a partially open salmon-colored dial, finished with a sandblasted texture and layered grey accents. On the mainspring barrel, the words “SWISS” and “HONG KONG” slowly rotate with time — a poetic tribute to the cross-cultural collaboration behind the watch.
Elegant, technical, and deeply symbolic, the Aspirare Tourbillon is more than the first Mémoire creation. It is the foundation of a new horological identity.
